I have been proofing and editing for many years in a variety of avenues, including:
- Executive Assistant
- Women's ministry newsletter writer and editor
- Freelance proofreading and copy editing for Christian authors
- Homeschool blog editor
Proofreading and editing is such a part of me that I practically do it in my sleep. I may be out shopping, at a baseball game, or enjoying dinner at a Mexican restaurant, but that part of my brain is always at work.
I've worked on newsletters, books, blogs, contracts, correspondence, college papers, event handouts, marketing pieces, and numerous other individual projects.
During the past eight years, I home educated our two sons, and May of 2013 brought that season to a close as our youngest graduated. Proofing and editing jobs have started to come my way, so while this has been a mostly voluntary activity during my homeschooling years, I've decided to jump in with both feet, set up a site, and make this official.
